Colorist Shonda Broadus recently created this rich, vibrant, purple orchid hair color for her client. Below, she shares her tips on recreating the look for your own guests!
Get the Look:
"[The client] was previously red," says Broadus, "so I lifted the (faded) red with Pravana lighter and 20 vol for 25 minutes (at room temp); then I went in after towel-drying using Pravana Vivids Violet (on top), Wild Orchid with a little Violet and clear on the bottom, fusing the colors together. After 20 minutes, I then rinsed and styled."
