The Look
For the Spring/Summer 2014 Monique Lhuillier collection, runway stylist Bob Recine for Moroccanoil created minimal, sculpted, geometric looks with contrasting seasonal textures of wet and dry. The look naturally flowed in smooth easy lines that were more than perfect for leisurely summer days. “Monique’s clothes are beautiful this season - colorful, airy and very geometric. I was inspired by their elegant sensibility, fresh modern shapes and boldly feminine textures,” said Recine.

How the Look Was Created
“I started by spraying Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium throughout the hair (in 2” sections at a time) and then used a flat iron over each section to give it added smoothness and shine with hold. I’ve always liked the unique lightness of this hairspray, it was exactly right to create this kind of natural-looking summer-like texture.”

“I finished with a spray of Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Strong, to hold the entire look in place and to highlight its diamond-like, reflective shine.”
