For the first time ever, The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) will announce the finalists for the 2012 North American Hairstyling Awards (NAHA) via the PBA Beauty Week Facebook Page. Finalists, their family, friends and the beauty industry at large can log on to Facebook and “like” the PBA Beauty Week page to watch the finalist broadcast Monday, April 30, 2012, at 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time / 5:00 p.m. Pacific Standard Time.
The thirteen NAHA categories will be announced, including the newest NAHA addition, Newcomer Stylist of the Year, in an exciting format. By releasing the finalists all at once publically and through Facebook, PBA anticipates the information to spread virally among beauty professionals, beauty companies, and the media.
NAHA 2012 will mark 23 years as being the most celebrated and prestigious photographic beauty competition in North America. The NAHA 2012 Awards Ceremony will take place on Sunday, July 22, 2012, at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. As part of the larger PBA Beauty Week event, hosted by Cosmoprof North America, the NAHA Awards Ceremony is attended by thousands of beauty professionals and seen world-wide via live streaming video at hairdesignertv.com.
