Jason Wu looked to modernist artist Charley Harper and the Maharaja for inspiration for his pre-fall 2012 collection, which he unveiled on Friday, December 2. Wu’s use of delicate beading, embroidery and jewel-toned colors on luxurious sweaters, pointy-collared blouses, and tailored outerwear was complemented with OPI Nail Lacquer in Got the Blues for Red on models’ hands. This rich blue-based red hue offers a classic, regal look with cool undertones to perfectly accessorize Wu’s runway creations.
