BASHA Competition Celebrates Student Talent in The San Francisco Bay Area

Bay Area Student Hairdressing Awards (BASHA), a student beauty competition in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area, celebrates the artistry and skill of fresh talent in the Industry. Bay Area Cosmo students currently enrolled in beauty school are eligible to enter BASHA in three categories: Shape, Color, and Avant Garde. One winner from each of the three categories will receive a $500 check toward their Cosmo school tuition.

BASHA judges Nicole Hitchcock, Nina Husen, and celebrity stylist and winner of Shear Genius, Brig Van Osten look forward to meeting BASHA finalists and seeing their models at the June 21st red carpet star studded BASHA 2012 awards party.
"BASHA is inspiring student hairdressers to express themselves creatively and reward them for their excellence. It is giving senior stylists an opportunity to meet talented young future professionals."states Nicole Hitchcock, PR director at NH2 salon.
Tickets are on sale now for BASHA 2012 at
$25 in advance or $40 at the door.
Event will include cocktails, DJ, meet and greet with Brigg from Shear Genius, and an inspirational awards ceremony.
