Get the Look: Contemporary Texture at Prada Resort 2016

Prada1

For the recent Prada Resort 2016 presentation, Redken Global Creative Director Guido used curls to create texture for a very of-the-moment look. Says Guido, "The inspiration for Prada always comes from the house itself. It was a juxtaposition between high and low, bourgeois and street, and this time we used curl as a texture for the look on both boys and girls. The boys’ hair was first prepped with a mist of Redken Body Full Volume Amplifier and then dried with the fingers. Then, using a large-barreled curling iron, I accentuated the curl by bending random sections of hair around the barrel to create the 'now' texture. The girls with long hair were dressed into a 60's/90's ponytail and finished with Redken fashion work 12 versatile working spray.”
