How-To: Dove Cameron's Cherry Pop Red Hair Color

Dove Cameron has gone from brunette to Cherry Pop red, with the help of celebrity hair stylist Jacob Rozenberg.

To complete the color transformation, Rozenberg used Goldwell color products.

The Breakdown:

1. Using Goldwell’s SilkLift Zero Ammonia Lightener, test a small section to confirm the formulas are a good match.
2. Section the hair into four areas and begin decolorizing, starting with the mid-sections before working on the roots and finally the ends to avoid over-processing damaged areas.  
3. Using a blend of Goldwell Topchic, Colorance and Pure Pigments, create a deep, blue-red color equivalent to Goldwell’s 2023 Color of the Year: Cherry Pop.
4. Following the color, treat the hair with Goldwell Dualsenses Color Extra Rich 60 Second Treatment to add in more moisture to keep the hair looking rich.
