Peach Fuzz is Pantone's Color of the Year for 2024.
Known as PANTONE 13-1023, Peach Fuzz captures our desire to nurture ourselves and others. It's a velvety gentle peach tone whose all-embracing spirit enriches mind, body, and soul. An appealing peach hue softly nestled between pink and orange, Peach Fuzz inspires belonging, recalibration and an opportunity for nurturing, conjuring up an air of calm, offering us a space to be, feel, and heal and to flourish from.

Long Island, NY hair colorist Meaghan Masterson Louis (@meaghanmastersonhair) created a hair color that's just peachy!
"This year is the year of PEACH! For me it started in 2023, my client for her color appointment brought my an inspiration photo from the amazing @bels_pipsqueakinsaigon," shares Masterson Louis. "Of course, I needed to put my own spin on it!"
- She came in with grown out blonde with a level 7/8 natural root and a full head of reinstalled hand tied blonde extensions. Before color, I prepped her with K18 Molecular Mist.
- I went in with a heavy headband hairline foil to refresh her money piece and baby light foil through out her crown with Pulp Riot Crème Bleach 20 vol.
- On dry hair, I applied her peach color fantasy, using Pulp Riot Semi-Permanent Hair Color custom formula of Desert Sky, Sandstorm, Lava and Clear. In her front money piece, I added a lot of Clear to dilute the existing formula.
"Last year was all about coppers, and what is a version of copper? PEACH! I do believe this year's Pantone Color of the Year is just the evolution of copper and reds," shares Masterson Louis. "There is red and copper tone for anyone, whether it be the most saturated to orange to the most pastel peach, and I’m ready to create any custom shade!"
