One of our favorite applications of the black cherry hair color was by Hairstylist Tiffany Galaviz, who recently created this gorgeous color for her client. Bold violet hues pop against a rich, dark backdrop for a look that's equal parts subtle and dramatic. Below, Tiffany shares how she created this look:

"[My client] desired a color close to her natural level 2 but with a pop of color when the light hits it," says Tiffany. "She came in with her natural level 2 and ombre level 7/8 mids to ends."
FORMULA 1: "Schwarzkopf Igora Vibrance 3-0 and 6 vol. I applied color roots to mids."
FORMULA 2: "Schwarzkopf Igora Vibrance 5-99 with 6 vol. and added an inch and a half of Kenra Violet Booster. I applied Formula 2 directly over Formula 1, but only saturating into mids and ends. Processed for 20 minutes at room temperature."
