Haircolor How To: Muted Metallic Mauve

One of fall's hottest hair trends is metallic hues. To help you achieve this look quickly and beautifully, PRAVANA has launched new ChromaSilk Express Tones. To get the metallic look using the Express Tones, combine one part Express Tones to 1 1/2 parts ChromaSilk Zero Lift then apply to damp hair. Leave on for five minutes for a gorgeous sheen, or up to 10 minutes if you’re looking for an even deeper tone. By adding Clear to your formula, you can achieve an even shinier, metallic result on strands.

PRAVANA Artistic Director and Education Leader R Zzio Gala demonstrated the new ChromaSilk Express Tones with this gorgeous, muted look. On Level 10 strands, Zzio applied ChromaSilk Express Tones in Violet, Ash, Pearl and a customized Ash+Clear shade to different sections of hair and allowed them to process for five minutes, then styled.
