The Professional Beauty Association (PBA) has announced the winners of the Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarships. Minerva Beauty, Inc. is a privately-held, American-owned company based in Monroe, GA and is a leading manufacturer and distributor of salon equipment. For the last four years, PBA has been partnering with Minerva Beauty to award five $1,000 scholarships to students currently enrolled in an accredited cosmetology program.
The following are the five 2015 Minerva Beauty Cosmetology Scholarship recipients:
- Kelly-Jo Coiley, Dover-Foxcroft, ME
- Tammy Frates, Worcester, MA
- Lizbeth Hernandez, Torrance, CA
- Audrey Horton, Tinley Park, IL
- Wynter Ward, Petersburg, VA
"Minerva congratulates the 2015 Minerva cosmetology scholarship recipients. The 2016 PBA Minerva Beauty Scholarship application is now available online at https://probeauty.org/scholarships/. Applications are due Tuesday, May 31, 2016. All scholarships are funded by Minerva Beauty and administered by the PBA Foundation. Applications will be reviewed by a committee appointed by the PBA Chairman of the Board.
