Styling tool brand ghd recently announced its latest partnership with Sal Misseri, top stylist and creative director of Kaizen Education, effective immediately. Misseri’s Salon in Chicago is already a member of ghd’s elite salon program and, with this new partnership, ghd will be the exclusive tool purveyor in all Kaizen education classes.
The goal of the Kaizen Academy is to inspire the hairdresser that is looking to advance his or her career through education. At Kaizen, Misseri has assembled a team of talented, award-winning stylists that will showcase the ghd brand during their training sessions, allowing stylists both the opportunity to learn, as well as the chance to purchase ghd tools. This partnership is part of ghd’s multi-pronged approach to target elite stylists who are constantly looking for new innovation and inspiration, as well as to nurture and promote up-and-coming stylists.
“ghd is known as a leader in education and innovation across the world and the partnership with Kaizen is an example of the brand’s desire to support education in the US for both established and up-and-coming stylists, helping them perfect their craft,” says Paula Malloy, Vice President Professional Sales – North America at ghd. “Misseri’s stylistic approach perfectly aligns with our brand; like ghd, he is inspirational, fashion-forward and a trendsetter. We’re thrilled to have him as our partner.”
“Whether styling hair, photographing editorial, art-directing shoots and shows, or teaching and mentoring the next generation of great stylists, my goal is to raise the bar, elevate the work, and exceed all expectation, and ghd tools help me to do just that,” adds Misseri.
As part of the partnership, each stylist on Kaizen education team will be working exclusively with ghd tools. ghd is looking to expand its education programs throughout the US, and Kaizen is just the first of many partners to be announced.
