Brands Go Pink to Support Breast Cancer Awareness Month

WetBrush incorporated the famous ribbon on its limited edition Original Detangler Brush, which was created to fight this disease. “Breast cancer affects so many women, and we are proud to support the fight,” enthuses PR manager Shannon Comstock. Twenty percent of sales will aid the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Breast cancer awareness has always been at the heart of RevitaLash Cosmetics’ platform, which began as a way to honor the legacy of founder Michael Brinkenho ’s wife, Gayle. It was a hairy twist on the #WearItPink campaign, when Natulique encouraged hairdressers to dye their tresses pink. “We received more than 100 images of rose-colored hair from stylists around the world, and reposted them with #HairItPink,” says brand manager Søren Kjelstrup. For every “like” received, the brand donated one euro to the UK’s Breast Cancer Now charity.
