Stylist Franck Izquierdo of Privé Salon gave the new Charlie's Angels' star Rachael Taylor a refreshing look for the 2011 Emmy Awards. Franck wanted to transform Rachael's long layered shoulder length hair and opted for the hottest hair trend, the bob, which was created from a combination of wet cutting and dry cutting.
Here is Franck's step by step to get Rachael's look:
- "I began by creating a strong undercut, allowing the top layer to be longer than the sides and back. By “disconnecting” the top layers from the bottom layers you can see the distinction between the two tiers, giving the style more edge," says Izquierdo.
- In order to texturize the hair, add body and intense shine Privé's Shining Weightless Amplifier was misted throughout dry hair.
- This is followed by another dry cut to add shape and volume to polish off the look.
- Using his texturizing technique, Franck finished with Privé's Finishing Texture Spray and Privé's “soon-to-be released product” and added a spritz of Flash Brilliance to complete Rachael's sleek and sophisticated look for the red carpet and also for her role as a presenter.
