Renowned hairstylist Ted Gibson (@tedgibson) is the latest star to enter The Bittarverse, joining Alexis Bittar’s viral content universe for a series of hilariously glamorous skits.

The Bittarverse is the content destination for Alexis Bittar, featuring New York centric characters that serve as a vehicle for Bittar’s satirical social commentary. Using his game-changing direct to consumer marketing, Bittar is leveraging his social media platform to broadcast the now cult content, which he has specifically generated for the medium. Unlike other brands, Bittar continues to fearlessly address ageism, consumerism, fashion exclusivity, diversity and political correctness in this self-conceived, self-realized and self-scripted mockumentary which is filmed and “dropped” episodically to a clambering audience.

Gibson, who has styled some of Hollywood’s biggest names stars alongside Margeaux (Patricia Black), the Upper East Side’s most chaotic socialite, in three unforgettable episodes that merge high fashion, comedy and unapologetic camp. In the skits, Margeaux visits Ted for her biweekly salon appointment—a ritual of indulgence, drama and unfiltered conversations. Ted plays himself, a larger-than-life hair maestro with a penchant for flair and a soft spot for Margeaux, whom he sees as his personal Joan Collins. Together, they take viewers on a wild ride through WASP rivalries, extravagant hair transformations and the comedic tension of a client-stylist relationship pushed to the brink.

Highlights from the Series

The Turban Reveal: Margeaux finally unveils the mystery beneath her signature turban, revealing a secret that Ted, ever the professional, promises to keep (mostly).

WASP Rivalries: Preparing for a showdown with her judgmental sister-in-law Lettie, Margeaux enlists Ted to create a hairstyle that screams revenge chic.

Hair and High Drama: From Margeaux’s biting critiques to Ted’s over-the-top comebacks, the skits offer a masterclass in salon theatrics, with Hazel (Julie J.) stepping in to diffuse the chaos.

The episodes explore themes of ageism, consumerism and self-image, with Ted’s character offering both wisdom and wit to balance Margeaux’s chaotic energy. Whether he’s calming her down with a scalp massage or matching her dramatic energy beat for beat, Ted’s presence is magnetic, making these episodes a must-watch for fans of high fashion and high comedy.

The videos will be released on Alexis Bittar’s social media channels (@alexisbittar).

“Ted is a legend in his own right. His ability to transform hair into art while amplifying the personality of the wearer is unparalleled,” says Bittar. “Margeaux’s world is all about drama, and Ted brought a flair that elevated the character in ways I never imagined. His comedic timing and energy were perfect for the Bittarverse.”

“Working with Alexis Bittar on this shoot in NYC is such a creative rush. After being in this business for so long, I still find inspiration in collaborations like this,” adds Gibson. “His jewelry tells a story, and my goal is to make the hair an extension of that story—bold, sculptural and unforgettable. It’s about bringing decades of experience and passion to the table to help his vision come to life with every strand. I am glad to now be a part of the BITTARVERSE family of legendary icons.”
