Yelp Launches “Bangs Insurance Giveaway”

Yelp has launched a “Bangs Insurance Giveaway” program to give consumers $200 toward a new hair look from a professional.

Yelp data shows February is the most popular month for people to get bangs, with an increase in searches for bangs every February for the past four years. 

Bangs are a big commitment, and sometimes they don't always "come out right." This insurance giveaway was designed to help Yelp users cope with bang issues.

Yelp's "Bangs Insurance" will give 100 people $200 to use toward a new hairstyle from a hair salon found on Yelp.  

"Many people are loving these hairstyles, but for anyone experiencing bang regret after their new crop, Yelp has got you covered with the first-ever Bangs Insurance," says Yelp trend expert Tara Lewis. 

To enter to win Yelp's "Bangs Insurance Giveaway," consumers can use the Collections feature on Yelp to bookmark a beauty business to visit and submit a screenshot of the bookmarked page for a chance to win $200. 

Consumers can enter to win now through March 29, 2022. Winners will be notified by April 15, 2022.
