Touchless massage is stepping out of the future and onto the spa floor. Capsix has teamed up with Earthlite LLC in a strategic distribution and co-development deal set to fast-track AI-powered massage into professional wellness environments.
At the center is Capsix’s iYU system—an on-skin robotic massage platform that uses AI and real-time body scanning to deliver personalized treatments without a therapist. The system replicates expert protocols with precision and consistency, offering a 24/7 solution for operators navigating staffing shortages while meeting rising demand for high-quality, results-driven services.
Under the agreement, Earthlite becomes the exclusive distributor of iYU across North America, Mexico and the Caribbean, while also collaborating on fully integrated setups that pair the technology with its ergonomic treatment tables. The goal: turnkey, unattended massage experiences that fit seamlessly into spas, hotels, fitness centers and longevity clinics.
For spa owners, the appeal is clear—scalable wellness services that boost revenue potential without adding labor strain. For clients, it’s a new level of accessibility, privacy and consistency, with clinically backed benefits including reduced muscle tension and stress.
The timing aligns with a broader shift toward autonomous wellness, as operators look to future-proof their offerings with tech-enabled solutions. And with Earthlite’s premium brand Living Earth Crafts bringing the system to market, the category is poised to gain rapid traction at the high end.
Operators can get a first look at the iYU system at the International Spa Association Conference 2026, where it will be showcased in the Living Earth Crafts Experience Room—offering a glimpse at what could be the next major revenue stream in spa and wellness.
