Anna Francesca NYFW FW 2013 Couture Collection

Designer Anna Francesca, often touted as "the next Alexander McQueen of fashion," unveiled her Fall/Winter 2013 Couture Collection. Celebrity hairstylist, Sherri Jessee, led the Aveda team in creating the coifs for the exclusive New York Fashion Week event organized by Blend Showroom and The Julien Management Group.

To create an amazing wave pattern on girls with long lock, hair was wrapped in a zig zag pattern on a double barreled curling wand.

Waves were loosened up with a wide toothed comb and Aveda Control Force was used to provide volume and hold.

Aveda's control force hair spray contains organic essential oils of Bulgarian lavender, bergamot, palmarosa, and vetiver which helped provide a calming aroma midst the hectic back-stage environment.

Soft, sexy, undulating waves.

Lead makeup artist, Pamela Taylor created a super smokey eye and bold red lips.

The men's hair was smoothed back with pomade for shine and control.

Aveda's pure-formance^TMpomade helps mold and style short to medium length hair into any maintainable shape. It has a built-in style-control agent that provides strong hold with lasting shine.

For girls with short tresses, a combo of Aveda pure-formance pomade and control force hairspray was used to smooth hair into interesting shapes.
