Setting off its launch, WWBE.com is hosting the event of the year, Sunday May 17th and Monday May 18th at the Osgood Landing (OZZY) in North Andover, MA, a collaborative artistic “Hair Jam” session of stage performers presenting with an influence of John Sahag. Sunday May 17, 2015 will be all-day stage presentations and demos, including John Sahag Dry Cutting, Extension and Editorial Up-Dos by industry experts. Later that evening, the WWBE After-Hours Tribute Party starts!! – A Red Carpet event at the Hard Rock Cafe in Boston's historic Faneuil Hall from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm. Then Monday, May 18th, capping off the two-day event with all-day intense hands-on Sahag Dry-Cutting Methodology and editorial up-styling classes from Sunday's experts. Come rub shoulders with industry icons and salon industry professionals alike from the world of fashion and entertainment and be inspired by the best team of luminaries the industry has to offer. Legendary Artist Giovani DeCunto, from the Boston’s North End, will be offering a portrait painting of the late great John Sahag called “Resurrection” for a national on-line auction and final auction to take place at the HardRock After-Hours Party. His artwork has received international acclaim, and all the proceeds from this auction will benefit the Lung Cancer Alliance!
Demand for this is already fierce as the event includes an inspirational peek into the life and work of the iconic John Sahag along with Sahag Workshop Craftsmen. Demos include the Sahag Dry Cutting Method by Karmela Lozina and Lillo Ragusa from the Sahag Workshop on Madison Avenue in New York. Both are original members of Sahag and worked with John Sahag in educational formats, including editorial styling in all the world's leading beauty magazines and runway shows for Issey Myaki.
