Colorist Dustin Stone recently created this decadent, red velvet hair color for his client. Subtle, sultry crimson blends down into vibrant, fiery red for a rich, bold effect. Below, Stone shares the steps he took in creating this gorgeous hair color.

Get the Look:
1. Says Stone, "I used Schwarzkopf Igora Royal 3-68 for new growth.

2. "Then, I applied 20g L-89 10g L-88 30 vol. and painted in my red.

3. "Processed at room temperature 45 minutes… really simple!"
