Get the Look: Karlie Kloss' Elegant Up-Do by Giannandrea

Celebrity hairstylist Giannandrea recently worked with Karlie Kloss for The PEOPLE Magazine Awards on Thursday, December 18th in Beverly Hills, CA. “I decided to create a modern, effortless up-do for Karlie at The People Magazine Awards tonight," said Giannandrea. Below, he shares his tips on how to recreate the look in the salon.

Get the Look:
1. Said Giannandrea, “Beginning with wet hair, I applied Macadamia Professional Foaming Volumizer to the whole head and blow dried with a large round brush to create volume on top.  
 
2. "Next I used a 1-inch curling iron and curled the hair in soft waves. I applied a quarter-sized amount of Macadamia Professional Whipped Detailing Cream and with my hands, ran it through the head backwards to create depth and separation.  
 
3. "Using small pins, I twisted the hair and set it into place, pinning it back. I braided the back into a low bun and also twisted it into the rest of the hair, creating a romantic shape. I allowed the fly-aways to remain, creating a soft and ethereal look.  
 
4. "I finished with Macadamia Professional Control Working Spray."
