On Sunday November 23rd, the international hairdressing world came together in glamorous Monaco to recognize and celebrate the industry’s best talent at the International TrendVision Awards (ITVA) and to be inspired by the 2015 trend reveal. Now in its 12th year, the 2014 International TrendVision Awards remains one of the most prestigious events in the hairdressing industry. This year’s ITVA finalists – 60 stylists and colorists from 35 countries – competed in two categories, Color and Young Talent, with their looks inspired by the 2014 TrendVision trends, Urban Native and Borderline Beauty.
In addition, the People’s Choice Awards in each category were chosen by hairdressing fans all over the world. Wella’s interactive voting experience gave people the opportunity to stream the live show on its website and vote for competitors in real time, making the ITVAs a truly global celebration. The awards ceremony was broadcast live from Monaco, and is available to watch on www.wella.com/live
