Celebrity makeup artist Fiona Stiles recently worked with Elizabeth Banks for the 2014 American Music Awards on Sunday, November 23rd in Los Angeles, CA. Says Stiles, "Clean with color was the inspiration to complement Elizabeth's dress for the American Music Awards. She looks so great with a strong brow and a bright lip - it's my favorite way to make her up."

1. Says Stiles, "I began with Koh Gen Do Maifanshi Moisture Foundation #023 and Tom Ford Concealing Pen in Medium/Light. I also used a bit of Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Powder.
2. "For contour and highlighter, I used Charlotte Tilbury Filmstar Bronze & Glow. For blush, I used NARS Sex Machine and Chanel Les Beiges #30. A little contour gives a modern sculpted look with just a touch of blush for a subtle flush. Plus, it keeps the contour from looking too severe.
3. "On the brows I used Anastasia Brow Wiz in Medium Ash.
4. "For the eyes, I just used a combination of a powder highlighter and contour instead of eyeshadow (Kevyn Aucoin The Sculpting Powder and MAC Lightsweep Highlighter). I like using taupe because it adds depth without looking like a lot of makeup. It makes the eye color pop and it doesn't compete with the rest of the makeup. I used Antonym Eyeliner in Noir, a deep inky black pencil, to line the upper lid right along the lashes and then swiped Surratt Auto-Graphique Liquid Liner in Chat Noir on top of it to make it even blacker. I applied loads of Charlotte Tilbury Full Fat Lashes in Glossy Black on the top and a coat on the bottom to give the eyes a bit of 60's flavor.
5. "For the lips I didn't want to exactly match the colors in her dress so I mixed an orange and fuchsia to get a custom electric pink that lands in between the red and orange of the dress (Butter London LIPPY Moisture Matte Lipstick in Ladybird & Dahling)."
