Colorist Kristin Pellegrino of Salon Head Candy in Cherry Hill, NJ, recently created this bright, bold purple ombre hair color for her client. Using the balayage technique, Pellegrino blended the rich color beautifully together for a vibrant, gorgeous result.
Get the Look:
1. Pellegrino added balayage highlights with Wella Blondor and 20 Vol., taking diagonal sections in a "V" shape from the nape to crown, and in the front, diagonally, in the parietal from the ear to the fringe.
2. Then, she deposited the purple over the pre-lightened hair using Joico Color Intensity 6 parts Orchid + 1 part Magenta + 2 parts Cobalt Blue.
