Celebrity hair stylist Brendan O’Sullivan is no stranger to Hollywood glamour, having styled and cut the hair of some of the most beautiful and famous people in the world. So it’s no surprise that, on a recent trip to Los Angeles, the Buckinghamshire hair and beauty salon owner found himself front and centre on a high profile fashion shoot alongside his photographer son, Luke, helping Disney Channel star and British fashion stylist Electra Formosa achieve the perfect look.
Some Like It Haute
The Santa Monica shoot was particularly notable for its location – the exact spot where Marilyn Monroe posed in 1962 for a series of iconic photos taken by top US photographer George Barris.
These legendary images of Marilyn inspired the shoot, directly influencing Electra’s hair styling on the day. The shoot, part of a wider PR campaign, was complemented by a magnificent backdrop of the coastline and landmark Santa Monica pier.
Electra has taken to the creative arts easily, having been around TV sets from an early age, thanks to mother Ariane Poole’s successful career as a celebrity make-up artist.
