Get the Look: Dianna Agron's Chic, Polished Style

Celebrity hairstylist Christian Wood recently worked with actress Dianna Agron for the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Event on Tuesday, October 21st in Los Angeles, CA. Says Wood, "I wanted to give the vintage-feeling dress a modern, sleek, tougher edge. A slicked-back, deep side part with a simple low twist at the back was what we decided on."

Get the Look:
1. Says Wood, “Dianna washed and conditioned her hair with Fekkai Shea Butter Shampoo and Conditioner. This gave a smooth, moistened base to the hair to make it malleable to work with.

2. "While the hair was wet, I added a very generous amount of Oribe Gold Lust Serum throughout and used a tail comb to place the deep side part.

3. "Next, I used a Mason Pearson Brush to brush the hair as tight as possible into a low ponytail and secured it with an elastic. I twisted the ponytail into a knot at the nape of the neck and secured it with bobby pins to hold in place. I sprayed Oribe Superfine Hairspray to smooth out any fly aways and give the hair a subtle hold.  

4. "Lastly, I placed Fekkai Sheer Sculpt Gel on the tip of my finger and gently layered the product on the part and various other sections of the hair. This added a form of highlight that picked up under the light and gave a glossier, sleeker appearance."
