For the Spring/Summer 2015 presentation at New York Fashion Week, Costello Tagliapietra drew inspiration from cinematic photography of the 1980’s, and created a cohesive collection that mimicked a romantic, nostalgic tale. Since the focal color was blue, Julie Kandalec for essie layered bikini so teeny and limo-scene to create a custom "whitened blue" nail shade.
Get the Look:
1. Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails.
2. Once the base coat dries, apply two coats of bikini so teeny.
3. Next, apply one heavy coat of limo-scene.
4. Follow with good to go top coat.
Expert tip: applying a single, heavier coat of polish will help eliminate streaking.
