Bellus Academy Receives Top Honors at Wella Professionals 2014 North America Trend Vision Competition

Bellus Academy, the prestigious beauty and wellness education institution headquartered in San Diego, CA, continued its winning streak by receiving three awards at the annual 2014 North American Trend Vision competition in Los Angeles, Calif. on July 20, 2014.

Held at the Festival Event Deck at L.A. LIVE, three current and former Bellus Academy students were recognized for their revolutionary and unique takes on trends and skill execution in the beauty industry. The competition, hosted by P&G Salon Professional brand, Wella Professionals, celebrates the originality and talent of aspiring and veteran professionals and aims to “connect, create, inspire, celebrate and elevate hairdressing.” Bellus Academy representatives were among the 21 hand-selected finalists out of 1000s of entrants in the United States and Canada competing for six award categories to showcase their talent to the world. From makeup to hair, stylists demonstrate their skills and creativity through their interpretation of one of the Wella 2014 Trends.

“Wella Trend Vision is an incredible platform for stylists from all over the world to showcase their skills,” said Bellus Academy Artistic Director and Wella Top Stylist, Diego Raviglione. “It pays homage to the pursuit of excellence in our craft. Competing and entering a competition of this caliber shows tremendous dedication and passion. Bellus Academy has built an entire culture around this dedication and passion.”
