This past weekend, local Florida-based hair company Keratin Complex, a leader in the smoothing, color and styling hair category, once again made a splash at Miami Swim Week, creating relaxed waves and loose braids for models at the Rip Curl Fashion Show. Held at The Raleigh Hotel Penthouse on Saturday, July 19th, stylists from Sean Donaldson Salon, led by Senior Stylist and Salon Educator for Sean Donaldson Hair, Nichola Lynch, used Keratin Complex styling products and hot tools to create the beach ready looks for the show. The inspiration for the looks combined fish tail braids with the messy, natural texture of the girl’s hair.
Get the Look:
1. Prep wet hair with Keratin Complex Vita Volume. Take small, 1-inch-wide sections and apply the mousse from root to end, covering all the hair.
2. Dry the hair completely.
3. If adding a braid, use either a French braid or fishtail braid. Braid loosely, and even pull some hair out to give hair that relaxed, messy look. Complete the look with Keratin Complex Bold Hold to keep hair in place.
