Ted Gibson styled Lupita Nyong’o’s hair for the 2014 Met Gala. Here’s how to get her look!

Lupita Nyong’o- the most beautiful woman in the world. This woman is so inspiring to me! After seeing her Prada dress and Cartier headpiece I knew I had to make her hair something special. I love this French roll because it has a regal feel to it. To make the look modern I colored her hair in a purple hue to compliment the green feathers and stones in the dress.
To achieve this look I started off with ultimate shine products and rubbed those into her hair. I then added pieces for the French roll, connecting the extensions with gel and hairspray. As always, I finished off the look with holding spray to keep it all in place. Lupita proves that no matter your hair texture, color, or length – hair is art!
