London Fashion Week: Dual Texture by Moroccanoil at Just Cavalli

Inspiration: According to the label, "the Just Cavalli Fall/Winter 2014-15 collection focuses on the inestimable value of the Florentine Renaissance's artistic patrimony through the lens of Roberto Cavalli’s contemporary creative vision. Each gown evokes the passion the designer feels for his hometown, which becomes the star of the artistic prints, created to evoke and inspire. The marble frames and stripes of Santa Maria Novella, the Aurora of the Sagrestia Nuova, and the Medici statues pay homage to Florence in a style that depicts the classics in a contemporary culture.”

piration: “The collection was bold and I wanted the hair to be too,” says stylist James Pecis for Moroccanoil. “I started with natural looking straight hair with a deep side part, emphasizing a small head. I then painted the top of the hair with a small paintbrush to create a high gloss, clearly defined line of gel across the hair for a dual textured effect. The final look is strong, sleek and modern.”
 Get the Look:
1. “Create a deep side part and apply Moroccanoil Volumizing Mousse on damp hair from root to ends and blow dry hair straight and flat to the head, back, and behind the ear (section by section).”

2. “Lightly Spray Moroccanoil Luminous Hairspray Medium throughout the hair including the roots, section by section, to keep the head smooth and to give it the strength to hold behind the ears and side of head.”

3. “Finish by painting Moroccanoil Styling Gel with a small brush over the top section to create extreme shine and a wet looking gloss.”

4. “Brush Moroccanoil Treatment Light through the ends to smooth and condition to finish the style.”
