Inspired by the designers’ favorite Sci-Fi and fantasy heroines, the 2014 Fall/Winter Costello Tagliapietra collection tells an imaginary tale of power and strength. To play up the colorful palette, Julie Kandalec for essie opted for deep berry-colored nails with a matte finish.

1. Apply ridge filling base coat to clean, filed nails
2. Once the base coat dries, apply two coats of "berry naughty"
