For the premiere of her film Wish I Was Here at the 2014 Sundance Film Festival, actress Ashley Greene balanced the tough, dark look of her outfit with bright, fresh makeup. Celebrity makeup artist Kerrie Urban created the look for Greene using JUARA and Antonym products.
Says Urban, "I began by prepping her skin with JUARA’s Sweet Black Tea & Ginger Mattefying Moisturizer. For under the eyes, I used the JUARA Sweet Black Tea Eye Crème. Both products gave her skin just the right amount of moisture and I love that the moisturizer isn’t greasy and controls shine – perfect for the red carpet!
"Next, I evened out her skin tone all over with Chanel Aqua Lumiere and layered the Antonym Baked Foundation in Light on top. Ashley has great skin and doesn’t need super heavy coverage, so the combination of these two products looked soft, natural and flawless.
"For her eyes, working with Antonym’s Certified Organic Quattro Eye Shadow Palette in Noisette, I swept a layer of the pale gold across her lids from lash line to the crease. Next, I used the brown shimmer shade in the outer corners of her eyes and crease line, blending into the gold. Then, I lined her eyes with the Antonym Certified Natural Waterproof Black Eye Pencil in Noir on the top lash line. On the bottom lash line, I smudged a light line with the matte brown shade from the Quattro Palette. To finish off the eyes, I applied the Lola Lash Certified Natural Mascara and a few individual lashes!
"For Ashley’s cheeks, I used Antonym Baked Blush in Copper, sweeping it along the apples of her cheeks for a fresh glow.
"And finally, to finish off the look, Ashley wanted a bright pop of color on her lips so we went with a bright raspberry color."
