Hairstyles How To: Zoey Deutch's Gorgeous, Youthful Waves

For the HFPA & InStyle Celebrates The 2014 Golden Globe Awards Season, hairstylist Aviva Perea gave actress Zoey Deutch a soft, effortless, wavy hairstyle. Here, Perea gives the how-to for the look:

"I prepped Zoey's hair with Oribe's Surfcomber Tousled Texture Mousse and Pytovolume volumizer and rough dried her hair with my fingers.

Then I curled one inch sections of hair starting at the nape of the neck and working up going in alternating directions. I used a 1" curling iron for most of her hair but around the face I used a 3/4" for extra texture.

I used Bumble and Bumble Thickening Dryspun Finishing Spray and Oribe Dry Texture spray. My new favorite discovery is Spornette Little Wonder #111 which is a hybrid miracle brush that's perfect for teasing & smoothing.

Then I pulled some pieces of hair back and secured them with bobby pins."
