Recently, Marco Pelusi, of Marco Pelusi Studio, was nominated for the John Chase Art & Design Award in the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce’s 30th Annual Creative City Awards 2013.
Now in their 30th year, the Annual Creative City Awards are the West Hollywood Chamber’s most prestigious and longest-running honors. Nominees are selected by their peers for each of the six categories, including a Creative Concept award, Corporate Innovation award, Creative Communications award, WEHO Beacon award, Creative Community service and the John Chase Art and Design award.
Pelusi's passion for hair and hair color began during his early days as a hairdresser at his family's upscale chain of East Coast salons. He is now globally recognized as a leading hair colorist, expert, and educator. Pelusi’s premier studio, Marco Pelusi Hair Studio, located in the heart of West Hollywood Design District, leads a staff of seasoned Hollywood hair stylists who offer world-class hair fashion to numerous celebrities and trendsetters. The winners of the 30th Annual Creative City Awards' six categories will be announced on the night of Thursday, November 14, 2013 at the gala hosted by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce at The London West Hollywood.
