Pink Products: Hairfinity Fights for a Cure

This month, in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness, we're highlighting products and collaborations that help support the cause.

Recently, Brock Beauty Inc., makers of the popular hair growth natural vitamin supplement Hairfinity, has increased its efforts to support Breast Cancer research and awareness. The brand regularly reaches out to support cause-related, non-profit organizations by donating product proceeds and enlisting the help of celebrities to increase awareness.

This year, Hairfinity teamed up with the BET Experience Awards in Los Angeles, California, where they donated gift bags to attendees of the official BET Awards Backstage Creation gifting lounge. Celebrity gift recipients included BET CEO Debra Lee, Tamar Braxton of "Braxton Family Values," David Mann of "Tyler Perry's Meet the Browns," gospel singer Tamala Mann and singer Angie Stone. Hairfinity representatives also encouraged celebrities to tweet "@HAIRFINITY#BETEXPERIENCE" in an effort to help raise money for Ann's Helping Hands, a non-profit organization that provides a variety of goods and services to cancer patients for free.

In addition, Hairfinity showed its support of Breast Cancer awareness, prevention and research by participating in Hair's A Cure: A Pink & Black Affair, a Breast Cancer awareness event in Chicago. Not only was Hairfinity a Pink Level sponsor for the event, but they also donated a generous thirty percent of all money raised to Pin-A-Sister, a Breast Cancer awareness campaign that seeks to educate and engage women in terms of taking control of their breast health. All remaining proceeds were put into Hair's A Cure, Inc. to begin funding cancer treatments to African American women and men.
