At Badgley Mischka's Spring 2014 show, Peter Gray rolled the hair into the perfect balance of casual and done. Don't wait until next year to start owning this look - Sam Villa, founding partner of the Sam Villa brand and Education Artistic Director for Redken 5th Avenue, shows you how to get it now, just in time for the holidays.

g Brush to smooth.

3.

Use a Sam Villa Signature Series Wide Cutting Comb to comb hair off the face and naturally split.

Secure a loose, low ponytail with a clear elastic – leave at least three inches from the nape to create shape.

4. Using fingers, create a separation in the ponytail between the nape and the secured portion of the ponytail.

5. Form a peace sign with the index and middle fingers, place the ponytail through the open section and pull the length of the tail up and over creating a beautiful curved fold in the ponytail. Leave the length out or repeat the process until all hair is in a bun and secure with a long hairpin.

6. Finish with Redken control addict 28.
