Reason I became a hairstylist: My grandmother was a stylist for over 35 years. She always knew I had a creative side and that I loved doing hair starting at the age of 14. She was the one who suggested cosmetology school.
Best advice I ever received regarding my career in hair/beauty: Own your work, own what you do.
Best advice I would give to a new hairstylist starting out: Be consistent in all aspects of the business, and never stop educating yourself.
Funniest thing that ever happened to me in a salon: I can't remember one moment; I had many funny things happen through the years.
