Hairstyles How To: Lena Dunham's 2013 Golden Globes Pixie

Lena Dunham, creator and star of the HBO smash Girls, walked the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards red carpet sporting her trademark pixie cut, styled using KEVIN.MURPHY. Inspired by Jean Seberg, Twiggy and Edie Sedgwick, stylist Rheanne White gave Dunham's look a modern flair with the use of K.M products.

Here's how to get the look:

  • White applied ANTI.GRAVITY to Dunham's damp locks before drying in the product. An oil-free volumizer and texturizer, ANTI.GRAVITY helps hold style while yielding bigger, thicker hair.
  • Next, White pieced out smaller sections with the help of EASY.RIDER, an anti-frizz creme with flexible hold.
  • Edges were finished with STICKY.BUSINESS, a matte paste with medium hold—ideal for creating a frozen moment in style.
  • Finally, Dunham's pixie was finished with SESSION.SPRAY for a weightless, lasting look.

Dunham won Best Actress in a TV Comedy/Musical, and her show Girls won Best Television Comedy/Musical Series.
