Hairstyles How To: Roberto Cavalli Spring/Summer 2013 Milan

Redken Creative Consultant Guido let the clothes at the Spring 2013 Roberto Cavalli show take the front seat, creating a look that would best enhance the natural texture of each model's hair. The simple, slightly texturized style complemented a collection that showcased a myriad of fabrics, textures, bright colors and wild animal prints in true Cavalli fashion.

"This look is really about how the girls look best themselves, how great they look walking down the runway with their natural hair, and really I'm just enhancing that. I'm also tucking the hair behind the ears at the end to give a slightly disheveled feel. But the clothes are very glamourous and they say it all. To create the right overall look for this show, we had to downplay the hair a little bit. This is an easy style that's a little bit grungy, and just very cool."

1. Apply outshine 01 anti-frizz polishing milk to damp hair and rough blow-dry. The hair's natural texture is most important, but adding outshine 01 will tame any frizz.
2. Create a clean center part and mist hair with wax blast 10 high impact finishing spray wax to add some additional texture.
3. Tuck hair behind the ears.
