Ted Gibson shares how he created Christina Ricci's bun couture look for the Met Ball:
Christina needed the perfect style to showcase her amazing Thakoon gown, and I knew this chic, sleek chignon would be absolutely gorgeous on her. First, I started off with wet hair and sprayed build it blow drying agent on mids and ends. I then applied fix it gel all over and blew hair dry with a medium sized round brush in one inch sections. Next, I flat ironed her entire head. I parted her hair in a deep side part and pulled everything back into a tight ponytail. I then created a large chignon in the back, pinning her hair with medium bobby pins. I finished with beautiful hold hair spray.
