Every beginner stylist needs to learn color theory before they begin working on a client's hair. 

Kristeena Van Cleave (@thatrebelstylist) shares a tutorial, so you can see color theory in action. 

In the tutorial, Van Cleave transitions hair with a blue-green tone to blonde. Using a black and white filter to find the level and the color wheel, Van Cleave determined that she needed to make red-orange at the same level 10 to eliminate the blue-green. 

To transition, Van Cleave used ShadesEQ gloss equal parts 10aa and pastel pink.
