This month’s The Colorist cover look was inspired by none other than ’60s fashion icon Twiggy, from her short crop to her lustrous blonde locks. In order to safely take the model’s mane from dark to pale, Eufora style director Mirza Batanovic tapped the brand’s Color Elixir so that the hair’s integrity could be maintained post-service. Says Batanovic, “Creating this look on a model with dark natural color emphasizes that Eufora Color Elixir is a necessary tool in lifting dark colors without damage.”

"Our model already had shorter hair, so I wanted to emphasize her undercut with a wedge on top, thinking back to the modern twist on the ’60s Twiggy cut," says Mirza Batanovic.

Base Formula Round 1 - Eufora AloeLite Cream Lightener Lightener + 20-volume Universal Cream Developer (1:2) and Color Elixir Professional Additive. Process for 30 minutes, rinse thoroughly and blow dry.
Base Formula Round 2 - Eufora AloeLite Cream Lightener + 20-volume Universal Cream Developer (1:2) and Color Elixir Professional Additive. Process for 30 minutes, rinse thoroughly and towel dry.

Ends Formula - Eufora AloeLite Cream Lightener + 10-volume Universal Cream Developer (1:2) and Color Elixir Professional Additive
Toning Formula 1 -EuforaColor No Ammonia 10.12/10AV + 7-volume Universal Cream Developer (1:2) and Color Elixir Professional Additive; process for 10 minutes and rinse thoroughly.
Toning Formula 2 - EuforaColor No Ammonia 8.23/8GV + 7-volume Universal Cream Developer (1:2) and Color Elixir Professional Additive; process for 10 to 15 minutes to create an even and buttery blonde. Rinse thoroughly and seal with Color Elixir Professional Sealer.
