JA: Blonding will forever be my favorite trend. It never goes out of style. I love the ability you get to change the flavors in tone, along with the dimension and brightness that you can create.

BLP: What is a tip you have for your fellow stylists who are looking to grow their following on socials?

JA: Know and focus your brand, and understand who your audience is.There is only one of you – Make it unique. Stay consistent with posting, and always capture all your work – You never know when you will need it.

BLP: What is a piece of advice about styling/working with hair that you have for your fellow stylists?

BLP: What do you love about your work?

JA: The creativity that can be transpired through our hands, tools and knowledge. Most  importantly, the ability to customize a service and change people's emotions at the end, in the  most positive way.

BLP: What inspires your work?

JA: Music, Music Videos, Lady Gaga, Beyonce. The way hair can change the emotion and  attitude through lyrics. My close friends/mentors who are always thinking outside the box and  having a different perspective in approaching things.

BLP: What motivates you about the industry?

JA: It's ever-evolving, and there is always room to elevate. There are different avenues you can take, whether it's working behind the chair, being an educator or salon owner or creating your own brand. Success lies everywhere within our industry, and you can do it all.
