We are deeply saddened to report that legendary hairdresser Oribe Canales, known simply as “Oribe” to those in the industry, passed away earlier this morning, December 17th.
A dynamic presence in professional beauty, Oribe spent decades behind the scenes at various Fashion Weeks styling the world’s top supermodels (such as Naomi Campbell and Kate Moss) in addition to Hollywood elite, including Cher, Lady Gaga, Jennifer Lopez and Scarlett Johansson. In 2008, Oribe founded his eponymous hair care line, which became an immediate hit upon its release.
