TAMACC is an association of the local Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and acts in their mission as a leading advocate for over 500,000 Hispanic businesses in Texas, protecting public affairs and public policy.
TAMACC and its members offered their appreciation to Mr. Basim Shami and recognized Houston-based Farouk Systems, the makers of CHI and BioSilk for their integrity and principled declaration in supporting the advocacy of all multicultural groups and promoting equal opportunities in their company’s philosophies and business practices.
According to Mr. Shami, "FSI is a multicultural company with people of Latin American descent making up a large percentage of our employees and loyal customers. As a company proudly founded on the concept of coming to the USA in pursuit of the American Dream, we proudly support everyone’s right to pursue that dream.”
