Joico Announces New International Creative Director Jeremy Davies-Barbala

At a recent global company update for Joico held on June 2nd, Jeremy Davies-Barbala was announced as Joico’s new International Creative Director.

With a background from the school of Sassoon, which Jeremy joined in 2002, later becoming Creative Director for both UK and US staff training programs, he also lead their Sloane Street, London flagship salon, until in 2010 coming stateside to be at the forefront of creative direction for Sassoon academies and salons. Apart from London, Jeremy has developed a strong client base in Los Angeles, and has created looks for icons like fashion designer Mary Quant and cult actress Rose McGowan, among others.

Upon meeting Jeremy for the first time, Sr. Director of Global New Product Strategy and Education, Angelia Polsinelli said, “After our first meeting with Jeremy, we knew he was right for Joico! He possesses a rare blend of hair and design mastery with an inherent love of the 'team' mentality.”
