Chrissy Teigen recently debuted her new "don't-cut-the-front" asymmetrical hairstyle - a cool new twist on the ever-popular lob - on celebrity hairstylist Jen Atkin's Instagram. Keeping hair longer and thicker in the front gives the appearance of fuller hair without over-layering. TRESemmé Stylist Jeanie Syfu weighs in on the trend and offers tips for styling the look at home.

“The key to making this look work is to let it swing and move, and that starts with using volumizing products like the new TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Collection,” says Jeanie, “this new cut offers so many styling options that girls love!”

Get the Look:

  1. Begin by washing hair using the TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Pre-Wash Conditioner and  Shampoo to set the foundation for a voluminous look.
  2. Apply TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Touchable Bounce Mousse to towel-dried hair and blow-dry upside down, using fingers to shake and pull at the roots.
  3. When dry, wrap hair once or twice around a large barrel curling iron, leaving ends out to create natural movement. Let sections cool, then gently brush through to soften the waves.
  4. Set the style by working TRESemmé Beauty-Full Volume Hairspray through lengths with fingers for soft touchable hold that lasts.
