China Glaze Pampers Girls at Wish Upon a Teen Spa Day

For some girls, a day at the spa is one of the most anticipated days of the year. On September 26th Wish Upon a Teen, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping teens with severe, life-limiting conditions, treated twelve teens to a day of pampering at the Sonya Dakar Skin Clinic in Beverly Hills. For the girls, the day is about more than just nail polish and lipstick. It is a chance for them to reconnect with friends, laugh and forget about treatments and hospitals for a day. During the sixth annual Spa Day, the teenagers, who are oncology patients of the Mattel Children’s Hospital UCLA, received custom nail art manicures by China Glaze®, facials by the Sonya Dakar team and makeup application by Jane Cosmetics.

This year, China Glaze® was joined by celebrity manicurists Whitney Gibson and Reina Santos from Nailing Hollywood.  They created custom manicures using an assortment of bright China Glaze® polishes adorned with the brand’s new rhinestone and stud embellishments and topped with Gotta Go dry fast top coat for long-lasting shine and durability. The teens also received a gift bag of their favorite China Glaze®, polishes, top coat, Orange Cuticle Oil and nail file to create their own custom manicures at home. This is the fifth year that China Glaze®, has participated in the event.

In addition to enjoying a day of pampering, the teens were treated to a catered lunch, made flower crowns and spent time with celebrities Whitney Port, Halston Sage and singer/songwriter Cailee Rae.
