Today, you will get to know Jodie Strange (@stranger.hair). She is a 28-year-old stylist at The Network Salon in Plantsville, Connecticut.
Q&A:
Beauty Launchpad (BLP): What is a fun fact about you?
Jodie Strange (JS): I originally went to school to be an audio engineer; however, only a few weeks in, I was doing hair out of my dorm room.
BLP: What is your proudest accomplishment?
JS: Definitely being an independent artist! It’s beyond rewarding.
BLP: What is your current favorite hair trend?
JS: Expensive-looking brunettes
BLP: What is a hair tip you have for your fellow stylists?
JS: Always cherish the clients you currently have.
BLP: What do you love about your work?
JS: I love being able to express myself through my color and creating strong bonds with my clients.
BLP: What motivates you about the industry you are in?
JS: Keeping my guests happy motivates me to keep learning and growing.
BLP: What is a professional goal you have for yourself?
JS: I would love to teach a class one day, perhaps on curly hair!
